Behrooz Karamizade *11.09.1978 in Ahwaz (Iran). In 1984 he and his family emigrated to former Soviet Union. He is living in Germany since 1985.
He studied film at the University of Kassel , Department Film and TV. He is one of the founders of NUR filmgroup.
With his first short movies he participated at the International Filmfestival Rotterdam, Kurzfilmtage Oberhausen, Toronto International Filmfestival and Montreal World Film Festival.
